Holy Hill Road Closure

Holy Hill Road will be CLOSED from Goldendale Road to Fond Du Lac Ave (STH-145) starting Monday, August 22nd with construction anticipated to take 6 weeks. Please use the posted detour route that follows Goldendale Road and Fond Du Lac Ave (STH-145) shown below. The reason for the closure is to reconstruct Holy Hill Road immediately east of the Goldendale intersection as part of the larger Holy Hill Road reconstruction project.

Holy Hill Road Reconstruction

(“B” St. to east of Goldendale Rd)

Reconstruction of Holy Hill Rd is scheduled for 2022, with an estimated start date in April.  Relocation of power poles and gas mains by We-energies has started.  Reconstruction of Holy Hill Rd was included in the scope of infrastructure improvements in the TID #8 Industrial Development, which means the TID will fund the cost for the reconstruction.  In addition, the Village of Germantown has received a 1-million-dollar Grant from the State of Wisconsin to be used towards the reconstruction.

The road will be constructed as a 4-lane divided roadway (refer to maps) which consists of 2 lanes of traffic in each direction separated by an 18-foot wide median.  The reconstruction will include curb/gutter, asphalt pavement, a 10-foot sidewalk on the southside, a 6-foot walkway on the northside and street lights in the median.  The intersection with Goldendale Rd will be controlled by traffic lights with future traffic lights to be installed at additional intersections as traffic flow dictates.

During construction two-way traffic will be maintained with delays in travel to be expected, it is recommended that travelers take a different route for their travels if possible.  Final completion of construction is schedule for November 18, 2022.

The north-east corner of the intersection of Revere Lane and Division Road is the soon-to-be home of the Heritage Park North subdivision. This 35-lot development will have an entrance off Division Road and connect to the existing dead-ends of Larkspur Lane and Bittersweet Trail to the north, and Gunflint Trail to the east. The plans have been approved since 2019, and work is now slated to begin April 11th.

Division Road Closure

Division Road between Revere Lane and Donges Bay Road will be CLOSED starting Monday May 23rd with construction anticipated to take four weeks. Please use the posted detour route that follows Donges Bay Road, Pilgrim Road and County Line Road/CTH Q shown below. Access to Lone Oaks Drive and Bittersweet Trail will be maintained for local traffic from the north.  Access to Wendy Ln, Dotty Way, Concord Rd. and Chippewa Dr. will be open from the south.   Businesses on Division Rd immediately north of CTH Q will maintain regular access from Division Rd.  The reason for the road closure is to install sanitary sewer to the new subdivision.
