Board of Review


Board Overview


The Board of Review is established by State Statute. The Board hears appeals regarding assessed property values set by the Village Assessor and also performs certain procedural functions in approving the Village Assessment Roll. 

Contact the Assessor, Associated Appraisal, if you have questions about your assessment. 
You may discuss assessments with the assessor by calling 920-749-1995 or going to their website at www.apraz.com.

Open Book


You may attend Open Book to discuss your property value with the assessor.  Each year, the assessor will conduct meetings with property owners who wish to discuss their assessment.  Open Book will be held on a May 11th.  Open Book Notice


Board of Review


Property owners who wish to appeal their assessment to the Board are required to do the following: 

Provide the Clerk's Office a written or oral notice of intent to file an objection 48 hours prior to the start of the Board of Review.
Complete and file with the Clerk' Office the proper objection form, Objection Form for Real Property Assessment. It is recommended that objectors complete and file this form at the same time they provide their notice of intent.

The Board of Review (BOR) operates as a court and hears evidence from the tax payer and assessor to render a decision.

Meetings


The Board of Review meets annually at anytime during the 45 day period beginning on the 4th Monday of April. Board of Review will be held on June 1st, 10 am - Noon
