Wilderness Park
Wilderness Park is a 200-acre undeveloped nature conservancy located in the northeast corner of the village. Currently there is no public access to the park.
Hunting Policy for Wilderness Park:
- Hunters must call Germantown police department and give them their name, contact number, make, model, and license plate of their vehicle before they hunt.
- Hunters must have a current game license.
- Hunters must follow all Department of Natural Resources hunting rules.
- If hunters shoot a deer and it runs off and on private property, the hunter MUST get the home/landowners (where the deer ends up) permission to get deer.
- Hunters cannot put up permanent (deer) stands in Wilderness Park.
- If hunters are going to hunt on MMSD land (surrounding Wilderness Park) they should check with the MMSD office for clearance.
- Hunters shooting and killing a deer must tag the deer and register that deer thru DNR.
