License holders are required to carry a copy of their license on their person; each license bears a raised Village of Germantown seal, the license holder's name, and the name of the company they represent. 2025 licenses and dashboard displays are printed on neon blue paper.
NEW: Ordinance No. 12-25, adopted by the Germantown Village Board on May 19, 2025, amended Section 12.08 of the Germantown Municipal Code related to the regulations of Direct Sellers, Transient Merchants, and Solicitors. Applicants that were issued Direct Sellers, Transient Merchants, and Solicitors licenses on or after May 20, 2025, are subject to the enclosed regulations.
