The Village of Germantown recently adopted its 2050 Comprehensive Plan. The "2050 Plan" will be the Village's guide to physical, social, and economic development in the community over the next 30 years.
The State of Wisconsin adopted legislation in 1999, which required all municipalities to adopt and maintain a Comprehensive Plan which includes a Public Participation Process, is officially Adopted by the Jurisdiction, and contains the following nine elements:
- Issues and Opportunities
- Land Use
- Economic Development
- Utilities and Community Facilities
- Agricultural, Natural and Cultural Resources
- Intergovernmental Cooperation
