Registering to Vote

In order to vote in the Village of Germantown you must be a registered voter. The deadline to register by mail is 20 days before the election date. All voters must submit proof of residence with their voter registration.The State of Wisconsin has set the following minimum requirements to register:
  1. You must be 18 years of age.
  2. You must be a U.S. citizen.
  3. You must reside in the Village of Germantown for a minimum of 28 consecutive days immediately preceding the election with no present intent to move.

You may register by mail, online or in-person at the Clerk's Office during regular business hours or at your Polling Location on Election Day. Please be aware that there may be time restrictions that a registration by mail is accepted. The application must be postmarked no later than the 20th day (third Wednesday) before an election.
